CWB Pays Out Barley A Pool
WINNIPEG - Jun 15/07 - SNS -- The Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) settling its 2006-07 barley Pool A with a final payment of CDN $42.435 per metric ton (MT).
Cheques will be mailed or funds directly deposited to farmers on July 4, 2007. Farmers have until June 27, 2007 to defer this payment. The Pool A feed barley pool ran from August 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007.
This final payment represents the balance of the money owing to farmers after their feed barley has been marketed through the CWB, and after operating costs have been deducted.
