Edible Bean Markets Generally Firmer
VANCOUVER - Jun 8/07 - SNS -- Dry edible beans markets were generally firmer around the world, despite ongoing harvest activity in Latin America.
North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 952, up two points from the previous week; while the grower index finished unchanged at 876.
Dry edible bean processors in Nebraska boosted asking prices and/or withdrew from the market against reports of a significant frost event at week's end.
