Mixed Week on Birdseed MarketsVANCOUVER - Jun 8/07 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets registered another mixed performance as markets switch their emphasis from current to new crop. Canadian canaryseed and white proso millet markets in the United States were little changed at the grower level on the week, but confectionary sunflower values eased. New crop grower bids in the United States were off $1 per 100 pounds (cwt) for large confectionary sunflower seed at $24, while bids for smalls were unchanged at $17.
