Canada's Weekly Exports Total 587,800 MT
WINNIPEG - Jun 8/07 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 24,606,300 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,944,800 MT from the 21,661,500 moved last year.
The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending June 3.
Grower deliveries during the week included 434,000 MT of wheat; 86,300 MT of durum; 19,500 MT of oats; 44,000 MT of barley; 7,800 MT of flax; 294,200 MT of canola; 11,900 MT of peas; and 2,500 MT of corn.
The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 587,800 MT. On the grain side this included including 358,000 MT of wheat; 85,000 MT of durum; 11,300 MT of oats; 1,400 MT of barley; and no corn.
