Edible Beans Unchanged to EasierVANCOUVER - Jun 1/07 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were little changed in light trade, as a large number of market participants attended this year's CICILS-IPTIC conference in France. North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 947, down two points from the previous week; while the grower index finished unchanged at 876. Seeding of this year's crop is underway across the United States. Planting progress varies widely across the country, with the week starting with just 2% in the ground in Michigan, versus 66% in Minnesota, 60% in North Dakota, and 18% in Nebraska.
