Mixed Performance by Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Jun 1/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets registered a mixed performance against relatively limited trading interest.
Western Canadian canaryseed growers continue to rule over the fate of markets, with their unwillingness to sell old crop stocks supporting nearby markets.
However, this summer's expansion in seeded area signals that "outters" have returned to the crop, suggesting new crop markets could get off to an unruly start.
