Australian Livestock Auction Action JumpsSYDNEY - Jun 1/07 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd jumped during the past week on a general increase in livestock offerings. Throughput for the week totalled 45,1591 sheep and lambs, versus 30,52 head during the previous week's auctions, and 6,045 head of cattle, compared to 4,638 last week. "Except for 'she who must be obeyed' there is nothing more fickle than our current market conditions," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said. "Tuesday, except for store lambs and best mutton sheep the rest of the market was indifferent, but by Thursday it was all off and running."
