Canada's April Pea Exports Advance
WINNIPEG - May 30/07 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports field exports in April totalled 159,300 metric tons (MT) through licensed terminal facilities, which are required to report to it all grain movement.
This is up from the 96,500 MT shipped the same month last year and up from the 48,800 MT shipped the previous month. The CGC reports field pea exports so far during the 2006-07 marketing total 1,271,900 MT, down from 1,493,500 MT the first nine months of the previous season.
