USDA Amends Food Aid Tender
KANSAS CITY - May 26/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here amended USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 067.
It cancelled the requests for 90 metric tons (MT) of lentils for Sudan; and changed the request for 5,500 MT of dark red kidney beans and 2,500 MT great Northern Beans for Zimbabwe to optional classes of beans.
The USDA is now seeking 8,000 MT of black, blackeye, garbanzo, great northern, kidney, dark red, kidney, light red, navy (pea), pink, pinto, small red, and/or small white beans.
