USDA Buys 1,000 MT Splits
KANSAS CITY - May 18/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 1,000 metric tons (MT) of yellow split peas for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 057C, the USDA bought the peas for shipment to Djibouti from inland plants between June 1 and June 22 or from plants located at port between June 23 and July 13.
