20% Jump in U.S. Durum Wheat
WASHINGTON - May 11/07 - SNS -- Production of Durum wheat in Arizona and California is forecast at a collective 16.6 million bushels, up 20% from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest crop production estimates.
In California, heading was complete in most areas of the State as of April 29, with no quality or disease issues reported.
