Special Crop Stocks SinkVANCOUVER - May 9/07 - SNS -- Available supplies of specialty crops in Canada on March 31 plunged nearly a million tons from last year, with growers and companies holding 1.913 million metric tons (MT) of peas, lentils, canary, mustard and sunflower seed in inventory. Available stocks on that date were up slightly from last year's 2.9 million MT, roughly 46,000 MT below the average available supply for that date during the seven years in which official stocks data have been available.
