Few Changes in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - May 4/07 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading unchanged to slightly easier.
Canadian canaryseed markets were unchanged for both inter-dealer and grower markets. The unwillingness of growers to chase markets is keeping available supplies just behind the needs of processors and exporters.
On that other hand, packagers and mixers appear comfortable with their medium term coverage and old crop buying should be on as needed basis.
