Weather More Dominant in MarketsCHICAGO - May 2/07 - SNS -- International agriculture commodity markets maintained a relatively busy tone, though markets are paying close attention to the evolving weather story in North America and elsewhere. Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) analysts point out that a wetter than expected weather trend in the forecast for the U.S. central plains is seen as a factor which could cause some disease problems as the crop matures. There is no question seeding North American crops will be delayed from time to time and place to place by rain. But, many market participants expect to see corn seeding surge forward in the United States this week. Weather forecasters, Wxrisk.com, sees potential for rains late this week end into early next week to disrupt seeding progress in the United States.
