Feed Peas Nominally FirmerVANCOUVER - Apr 27/07 - SNS -- International feed pea markets were nominally firmer during the past week against concerns about the size of European crops and volatility in major ingredient markets. European feed pea traders reported solid gains in spot markets during the past week, while new crop feed peas were generally unchanged. Worries about crop production prospects in continental Europe and the ongoing weather market in the United States drove changes. The greatest strength is evident in the United Kingdom, where tights stocks of field peas and field beans has forced bid levels sharply higher over the past month. Grower bids in France have also been trending upward, but at a more modest pace; while Canadian growers remain disinterested by the livestock feed option.
