Birdseeds Surprised by Canseed IntentionVANCOUVER - Apr 27/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were surprised by the size of the planned acreage increase for this year's western Canadian canaryseed crop. Unofficial surveys by Saskatchewan Agriculture pointed to a modest increase in area from 285,000 to 287,000 acres this year in that province.
