North American Bean Area DroppingVANCOUVER - Apr 24/07 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean area will be down over last year if growers in Canada and the United States hold true to their seeding intentions. Dry edible bean plantings in Canada are expected to decline this year from 451,800 to 405,900 acres. Average yields would see production drop from 372,700 to 304,000 MT.
