Birdseed Ingredients Hold Steady
VANCOUVER - Apr 20/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets remain relatively steady, but with a somewhat easier tone evident for some products.
Canadian canaryseed is holding its value largely because of the unwillingness of growers to participate in markets.
End users are not convinced spot markets will advance from current levels and are therefore unwilling to chase available supplies. Their conviction is reinforced by the observation there is always at least one eager seller in the market.
