Modest Advance in Frozen PoultryWASHINGTON - Apr 20/07 - SNS -- Total frozen poultry supplies at the end of March were up 2% from the previous month, and 24% below last year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. At 594.4 million pounds, total stocks of chicken were down nearly 26 million pounds from the previous month, and down 32% from last year. Frozen egg stocks were down 6% on the month at 14.7 million pounds. At 352 million pounds, total pounds of turkey in freezers were up 13% from last month and down roughly 25 million pounds from last year.
