Seasonal Drop in Frozen VeggiesWASHINGTON - Apr 20/07 - SNS -- Frozen vegetable supplies fell 13% during March to finish the month at almost 1,541 million pounds, down 10% from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Compared to the previous month, stocks of onion rings, blackeye peas and spinach were up. Compared to last year, stocks of asparagus, broccoli, carrots, mixed vegetables and onions were down. Supplies of potatoes in cold storage were higher, rising 51 million pounds on the month to 1,114 million pounds, down 4% from the previous year.
