India's Water Reserves Up Over 2006NEW DELHI - Apr 16/07 - SNS -- India's 67 most important reservoirs are finishing the rabi or winter cropping season with more water on hand than last year and with more than the previous 10-year average. Water reserves total 46.354 billion cubic meter (BCM), which is 13.9 BCM or 43% more than the average of last 10 years storage; and 3.381 BCM more than this time last year.
