Chickpeas Little ChangedVANCOUVER - Apr 13/07 - SNS -- International chickpea were unchanged to firmer in light trade during the past week. Supplies remain tight in Canada and the United States, while new crop offerings from Mexico remain limited and asking prices remain at relatively high levels. Limited trading in Mexican origin product was reported during the past week to destinations in the Pacific Rim and South America; while exporters in Canada are waiting for seeding to be completed and remaining stocks to be offered up by growers.
