French Field Peas Sales Off in FebruaryVANCOUVER - Apr 13/07 - SNS -- Field pea export activity from France declined in February, falling below both month and year earlier levels, according data assembled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP). Shipments during the month totalled 22,560 metric tons (MT), compared to 25,625 in January and 31,480 the same month last year. Field pea export activity has been relatively slow since the last shipments to the Indian subcontinent in November, reflecting an ongoing tightening in field pea supplies in France.
