Few Changes in LentilsVANCOUVER - Apr 6/07 - SNS -- Lentil markets were little changed in holiday shortened trading activity, with many market participants in key lentil consuming regions of the world closed for a four-day Easter weekend. Markets continue to debate the potential break down between red and green lentils which will be grown in North America this year. With most expecting green lentil area to continue collapsing, growers are frustrated by the muted price response. They see a stark contrast with red lentils, which started the season on a weak note, only to spend most of it at a premium to greens at the grower level.
