Canadian Peas Regain Golden AgeVANCOUVER - Apr 3/07 - SNS -- The current marketing year has already proven to be one of the best of times for Canadian field pea values and export performance. Average prices through the first half of the 2006-07 marketing year are dramatically higher than year earlier levels. Delivered track Vancouver prices for machine dressed human consumption yellow peas have averaged 43% higher than during the first half of the 2005-06 marketing year, while average food grade green pea values are up 32.5% over the comparable period last season.
