Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 1/07 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning Summary:
Minor flood warning for the Paroo River.
Current Weather Situation and Future Developments:
A weak high over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over northeastern New
South Wales. A trough is deepening over the northwest and  south of
the state today bringing a weak southerly change to southern parts.
The change will move to the central parts of the state tomorrow then
the remainder on Wednesday. A high will move south of the Bight  on
Tuesday extending a ridge behind the change. Another southerly change
is expected to develop along the coast during Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for Monday evening
Isolated showers on the far north coast, contracting further north.
Chance of a late shower on the far southern ranges and coast. Fine
elsewhere. Light to moderate north to northeasterly winds ahead of a
weak southerly change in the south.
Forecast for Tuesday
Isolated showers developing along the south and central coast  and
adjacent ranges extending to the north coast overnight. The chance of
afternoon thunderstorms on the south and central coast and adjacent
ranges. Isolated clearing showers on the Alps. Fine elsewhere.
Southwest to southeast winds extending throughout.
Forecast for Wednesday
Isolated showers coast and adjacent ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southeast
to northeast winds.
Forecast for Thursday
Isolated showers on the southern half of the coast and clearing
showers on the far north coast. Fine elsewhere. North to northeast
winds in the northeast. South to southwest change extending
throughout, fresh near the coast.
Forecast for Friday
Isolated showers coast and adjacent ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southwest
to southeast winds, fresh near the coast.
