Edible Beans Generally FirmerVANCOUVER - Mar 30/07 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were generally firmer in light trading interest during the past week. North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 987, up six points from the previous week; while the grower index finished up eight points at 878. Markets in the United States were given a boost at week's end by the USDA seeding intentions report, which called for a 7.7% drop in dry edible bean area this spring.
