Firm Tone in Lentil MarketVANCOUVER - Mar 23/07 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week's trading on a generally firm tone under seasonally quiet trading conditions. Much of the market's attention has switched to the pending seeding intentions reports for the United States and Canada. The USDA intentions are due March 30 and the Canadian April 24. There is a general expectation they will reveal and overall decrease in lentil area on the continent, with processors and exporters now believing all the decline will be borne by green lentils.
