EPA Sets Thifensulfuron Methyl TolerancesWASHINGTON - Mar 22/07 - SNS -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established tolerances for residues of thifensulfuron methyl in or on rice, grain; rice, straw; sorghum, grain, forage; sorghum, grain, grain; and sorghum, grain, stover. The request for tolerances was made the pesticide maker, E. I. DuPont de Nemours and Company. The regulation tyook efect March 21. It sets tolerances for residues of the herbicide thifensulfuron methyl, (methyl-3-[[[[(4-methoxy-6-methyl- 1,3,5,-triazin-2-yl)amino]carbonyl]amino]sulfonyl]-2-thiophenecarboxylate, in or on the listed products.
