Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 26,030 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 21/07 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 140,360 MT, compared to 153,820 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 3,370 MT at 23,470 MT versus 20,100 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 25,350 MT from last year's 72,310 MT.
