USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 1,680 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 21/07 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 15,470 MT, compared to 30,360 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases down 13,860 MT from last year's 28,510 MT level.
