Modest Improvement in French Pea SalesVANCOUVER - Mar 15/07 - SNS -- Field pea export activity from France picked up during January, rising above month earlier levels, but falling below year earlier levels, according data assembled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP). Shipments during the month totalled 25,605 metric tons (MT), compared to 17,145 in December and 29,445 the same month last year. An absence of shipments to the Indian subcontinent during the month account for the reduced level of export activity since November.
