Mixed Week for Feed PeasVANCOUVER - Mar 9/07 - SNS -- Feed pea markets experienced a mixed week in Europe, while firming in Canada as demand remains slightly ahead of available supplies from growers. Canadian growers continue to be distracted by current and new crop opportunities to sell food grade peas and are showing only limited interest in pursuing domestic and export feed pea demand. Grade spreads on product situated in Thunder Bay and Vancouver also make it clear that there is only limited emphasis on shipping feed peas. Of the 598,300 metric tons (MT) instore the two ports at end of week 31, only 8,800 was Canada Feed and most of the balance was No 2 Canada.
