USDA Buys 720 MT Beans
KANSAS CITY - Mar 9/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 720 metric tons (MT) of dry edible beans for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 037B, the USDA bought the beans for shipment from origin between April 1 and April 22 or from plants located at port between April 23 and May 13.
All the beans bought on the tender are for shipment to Guatemala.
