Australian Livestock Auction Action JumpsSYDNEY - Mar 9/07 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd rose during the past week as increased sheep and lamb offerings offset a drop in cattle. Throughput for the week totalled 30,420 sheep and lambs, versus 21,002 head the previous auction, and 3,508 head of cattle, compared to 4,904 last week. "Excellent throughputs this week considering the follow up rain in some areas; throughout the week though, you still spoke to some poor souls who reported hot windy and dusty conditions," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said.
