Manufactured Egg Use Off in January
WASHINGTON - Mar 7/07 - SNS -- The quantity of eggs used by food manufacturers in the United States dropped below year earlier levels in January, according to the latest data from the USDA.
Shell eggs broken totaled 152 million dozen during January 2007, down 8% from January a year ago, and 6% below the 162 million broken last month.
