Alaron Energy Commodity Comment

CHICAGO - Mar 5/07 - SNS -- Following is the oil and ethnaol futures comment from Alaron Trading Corp.

We’ve got the Asian pneumonia and the stock-market flu. You want to buy it but it falls too fast, you think it bottomed then its bound to crash. Young man Asia’s got a hold of you too, you’ve got the Asian pneumonia and the stock market blues.

Just another manic Monday in Asia as the Asian stock market washout continues. The Asian stock market flu is giving chills and thrills to traders all across the globe and wherever she stops, nobody knows. Commodities are tumbling as the main driver of global demand is on shaky ground. Traders want to buy in but they are fearful as they wonder just where this sell-off is going to stop. How well are countries like china and others in the Pacific Rim equipped to handle a major market meltdown? Could this manic Monday actually turn into Asia’s black Monday?

A black Monday for Asia could mean dark days ahead for black gold. The oil market in steadier times might rally on colder than normal march temperatures but the real fear for the market is that Asia demand will dry up. The market will just wait and watch the market in the US and Asia.

Its bad luck to let a black cat cross your path and don’t walk under a latter and its real bad luck to say anything bad about Russian President Vladimir Putin. Can the long arm of Putin reach all the way to Washington? Another Putin critic had a bit of bad luck. Paul Joyal, a Russian intelligence expert, was shot down just days after accusing the Russian government of involvement in the poisoning of former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko. Last Sunday on Dateline NBC, Joyal accused the Russian government of trying to silence its critics. He said that, “A message to anyone who wants to speak out against the Kremlin; if you do, no matter where you are, we will silence you in the most horrible way possible”. Russian intelligence just accused the Russian government of involvement in the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko last year.

Still some think that’s its just a coincident and that the shooting was just a robbery. The same way it was a coincidence when another guest on the same program had an untimely death. David McCrey was a reporter with the Times and just happened to have a stroke and died just before the program aired.

Bad luck seems to follow anyone who speaks out against the Putin regime.

So protesters beware. Russian police had to use force to stop an anti-Putin rally. It seems more people in Russia are getting tired of Putin’s assault on freedom. Stay tuned.
