Steady Demand Strengthens PeasVANCOUVER - Mar 2/07 - SNS -- Field pea markets continued to strengthen during the past week against steady world demand and increasingly reluctant grower participation in markets. Unofficial Canadian field pea exports so far during the opening quarter of 2007 sit at just under 200,000 metric tons (MT). Export movement has been hurt by significant problems getting enough railcars to meet shipping commitments.
