U.S. Domestic Weekly Peanut Price Update
WASHINGTON - Mar 2/07 - SNS - Peanut prices received by farmers for all farmer stock peanuts averaged $0.181 per pound for the week ending February 24, according to the USDA.
The price per pound increased $0.006 from the previous week.
Marketings of all farmer stock peanuts for the week ending February 24 totaled 47.9 million pounds, down 22.3 million pounds from the previous week.
The average price of Runner type peanuts was $0.170 per pound for the week ending February 24, unchanged from the previous week. Marketings of Runner type peanuts were 38.8 million pounds, down 16.9 million pounds from the previous week.
