Canada's Weekly Exports Total 463,700 MT
WINNIPEG - Mar 2/07 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 17,007,800 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,693,000 MT from the 14,314,800 moved last year.
The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending February 25.
Grower deliveries during the week included 305,700 MT of wheat; 86,500 MT of durum; 30,800 MT of oats; 59,000 MT of barley; 5,300 MT of flax; 158,300 MT of canola; 21,600 MT of peas; and 1,200 MT of corn.
The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 463,700 MT. On the grain side this included including 243,200 MT of wheat; 62,800 MT of durum; 19,300 MT of oats; 39,700 MT of barley; and no corn.
