Australian Livestock Auction Action OffSYDNEY - Mar 2/07 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd fell during the past week as lower sheep and lamb offerings offset a modest gain in cattle. Throughput for the week totalled 21,002 sheep and lambs, versus 22,667 head the previous auction, and 4,904 head of cattle, compared to 4,276 last week. "Cattle throughput increased, which was pleasing given the sporadic but heavy rainfall which would normally restrict numbers," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said.
