Warning Summary Fire Weather Warning: Fire danger will be extreme in the Mallee, Northern Country, North Central and Northeast districts on Saturday. Current Weather Situation and Future Developments A cold front over the Bight will move eastwards and will cross Victoria on Saturday. A high pressure system will develop south of Western Australia on Sunday before drifting eastwards on Monday as a cold front moves across Tasmania. On Tuesday the high pressure system will move to the south of Tasmania. Victoria Tonight and Saturday: Fine tonight. Early morning fog patches in Gippsland. A warm to hot day with moderate to locally fresh northerly winds ahead of a cooler southwesterly change extending from the west. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing, mostly near the change and mainly in the south. Fire Danger: High to very high, reaching extreme in the north.
