Current Weather Situation and Future Developments
A trough of low pressure over eastern Victoria will weaken during Friday.  A
cold front over Western Australia will continue moving eastwards and will cross
Victoria on Saturday. A high pressure system will develop south of Western
Australia on Sunday before drifting eastwards on Monday as a cold front moves
across Tasmania.

Friday:       Showers over the southeast becoming isolated. Morning fog patches
in the south. Fine elsewhere. A warm to hot and mostly sunny day. Light to
moderate east to southeast winds. Afternoon coastal seabreezes.
Fire Danger: High to very high in the north and west.
UV Index:     9 [Very high] decreasing to 6 [high] under cloud.
Saturday:     A warm to hot day ahead of a cool change extending from the west
with isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Sunday:       Isolated showers, mostly on and south of the ranges. Isolated
thunderstorms in the east. Generally warm in the north, milder in the south.
