Chickpeas Steady in Quiet TradeVANCOUVER - Feb 23/07 - SNS -- International chick pea markets finished the week little change under relatively quiet trading conditions. Markets are waiting for Mexico's harvest to be completed to get a sense of the price trend which will be in place for large caliber chickpeas during the balance of the calendar year. Processors in the United States were pleased with the USDA's decision to seek offers of 130 metric tons (MT) of chickpeas for shipment to Nepal in April.
