Little Change in LentilsVANCOUVER - Feb 23/07 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished the week's unchanged to firmer despite relatively light trading interest. Markets in the United States were helped by the latest USDA PL-480 food aid tender, which is seeking offers of 1,950 metric tons (MT) of lentils for shipment in April. Stocks of all classes of lentils are tightening in the United States and there is some concern about how many acres will actually be sown in Montana and North Dakota because of competition from other crops.
