Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 9,350 MT
KANSAS CITY - Feb 21/07 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 114,330 MT, compared to 149,820 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 2,430 MT at 22,530 MT versus 20,100 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 35,590 MT from last year's 70,280 MT.
