Mixed Week on Birdseed Markets
VANCOUVER - Feb 9/07 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets continued to register a mixed performance during the past week.
White proso millet and sunflower markets in the United States finished the week unchanged to firmer, though a bearish soybean outlook from the USDA on Friday could trim gains in oil-type sunflower values.
Confectionary sunflower markets should be unaffected, however, with many suppliers indicating they are sold out of current crop merchandise.
