Mixed Finish For Feed PeasVANCOUVER - Feb 9/07 - SNS -- Feed pea markets finished the week's trading mixed against light export trading interest and relatively steady domestic movement in Europe and western Canada. Markets received mixed news from major commodities during the week, with the USDA's latest supply and demand estimates painting a bearish picture for current soybeans and a friendly one for wheat and corn. At the same, greater certainty is developing about the scope of the pending increase in corn area in the United States this year. Markets are still in a mood to buy acreage, creating excellent longer term pricing opportunities for growers. On the other hand markets clearly believe the game will be up by the 2009-10 season, with prices discounted to 2007-08. Subscribers can read the full text of the article by Clicking here
