USDA Buys 16,910 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Feb 8/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 16,910 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid.
In releasing result of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 027,, the USDA said there "were no offers for. . . 2,270 MT of yellow peas" reducing the quantity of whole yellow peas bought from 6,000 to 3,730 MT.
