Canadian Egg Production Up in December
OTTAWA - Feb 8/07 - SNS -- Canadian egg production finished 2006 on a slightly upward eat, with output in December rising above month earlier levels, though down on the year.
Statistics Canada reports 50.4 million dozen eggs were produced in December, down 1.0% from December 2005.
Poultry meat production reached 89.8 million kilograms in December, down 2.6% from December 2005.
